This notice explains what happens to your information when you visit the Shear Platinum Salon website. The short version: this website does not ask for, collect, or sell your personal information. There are no forms, sign-ups, or accounts on this site.
Information we collect
We don't collect personal information such as your name, email, or phone number through this website. We don't use analytics, ad trackers, or tracking pixels.
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Third-party services
Some parts of the site connect to other companies. Each has its own privacy policy, and we don't control what they collect.
- Google Maps. The map in our Visit section is provided by Google, which may receive your IP address and set cookies when the map loads. Google's Privacy Policy
- Booking and social links. "Book Now" buttons and social icons take you to outside sites (such as Square, GlossGenius, Schedulista, theCut, Nailzy, a stylist's own website, Instagram, and Facebook). Anything you enter there, including booking and payment details, is handled by that company under its own policy.
Cookies
Our website itself doesn't set cookies. The Google Maps embed may set its own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Do Not Track
Because this website doesn't track you, there's nothing for a browser "Do Not Track" signal to turn off. We don't track visitors across other websites over time.
Children
This website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
